I was referred to Kasey and Jack from Flourtown Country Club, their future wedding venue!!! I swear Flourtown CC gets the best couples, thanks Jenny! Well a couple months after our initial photography consultation, Kasey reached out to let me know she was pregnant! How exciting! So she decided that her engagement shoot would turn into a maternity/ engagement shoot combo.
I ended up running into the couple at another Seedling and Sage event and it was so great to see them and chat a little bit about their upcoming wedding plans and baby’s arrival.
I don’t typically do too many maternity shoots, I mostly stick to weddings and engagements, well let me tell you that I found a new love for maternity. It could also be the fact that Kasey was just the cutest mama to be and her and Jack have the best chemistry and natural excitement for this little guy to arrive. I don’t think the three of us stopped laughing and smiling the entire hour we were together.
The plan:
We originally planned for the session to take place at Peace Valley Park, but last minute I contacted Kasey to ask if she was interested in doing the maternity photo shoot at Pearl S. Buck House in Perkasie. Although we were both a little worried about the impending rain, the night ended up being perfect. Pearl S. Buck provided the most picturesque backdrop for their maternity and engagement session. Kasey and Jack both wore blue in honor of the baby boy arriving in August. Kasey started with a gorgeous fitted dress to show off those new pregnant curves, she then opted to change into overalls for a more relaxed fit. I don’t know about you but a mama to be in overalls is just too cute!
I can’t wait to meet this bundle of joy at their wedding in November.
