The Venue:
Ashley and Evan were married at Flourtown Country Club. Flourtown just happens to be one of my favorite venues in Montgomery County, offering a historic vibe and farm to table food with Seedling and Sage as the in house caterer. The outside offers beautiful gardens, tree lined paths, and a stone manor. Inside you will find a cozy fireplace, exposed stone, an inviting bar and beautiful floor to ceiling windows. The venue offers a golf deck for guests to hang outside during cocktail hour and when it gets chilly, gaslit fires.
The Day:
Ashley and Evan could not have picked a more perfect March wedding day, with temperatures in the mid 60s and full sun! The moment I drove onto the property I realized there cherry blossom trees had bloomed and I knew we needed to get some pictures with the pink flowers in the background.
Getting ready for the bride and groom started at Normandy Farm Hotel and then moved over to Flourtown Country Club for Ashley to put on her dress in their beautiful bridal suite. Ashley opted to have a first look with both her grandmothers and let me tell you there was not a dry eye in the house! After that Ashley and Evan has their first look in the garden followed by wedding party pictures and bride and groom pictures on the grounds.
Ashley and Evan had their ceremony in the tented veranda at Flourtown, it accommodated all of the 200 guest! Since St. Patricks Day was the following day the cocktail hour was enjoyed with Irish Music in the background. The reception breezed by with lots of dancing and laughs, the couple chose to finish off the night with a french fry bar which I think was a huge hit!
I wish nothing but the best of luck for a long and healthy marriage for these two! Congratulations again Ashley and Evan!
