The Wedding Day:

Betsy and Mackenzie who met online and are self proclaimed opposites, were married on June 14th surrounded by friends and family in a gorgeous outdoor ceremony at Downingtown Country Club. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know these two from our first consultation to their engagement session and now wedding day. I love how Betsy’s super girly tendencies compliment Mackenzies down to earth, fun loving spirit. These two really are the saying opposites attract, but in the best possible way. I loved hearing stories from their family about the early days of them dating and how Betsy jumped right into the football world just so she could spend more time with Mackenzie and support her passions. Isn’t that just what you want in a partner, someone who supports your passions even if they don’t understand it. 

The wedding day had a few hiccups along the way, but the new Mrs. and Mrs. handled it with grace and laughter. With impending rain, we were lucky enough to get all of their wedding pictures outside, we even had a stunning sunset after the rain storm. It really does show you that you can’t depend on a weather app, it will be what it will be. 

I loved how our bride and bride incorporated the LGBTQ+ flag for their wedding ceremony exit, it was flag day after all! By the time the reception rolled around the guests were ready to hit the dance floor and celebrate the night away with Betys and Mackenzie.
