After getting to know Mackenzie and Asher during their engagement session, following their lives on social media and now capturing their wedding I can say with confidence theirs is a beautiful faith driven love story! Asher and Mackenzie who met senior year of high school after asher was asking her brother if Mackenzie was coming to Volleyball practice, wed at Durham Hill Farm on June 1st in front of their family and friends.
From the moment I walked into the bridal suite I felt how much love was surrounding these two. The couple chose to have a first touch with a prayer before their ceremony to start off their special day. The ceremony was personalized with the couple reading their own vows and a family prayer where each member contributed something. Asher and Mackenzie said I do looking over the horse pasture of durham hill farm and became Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
Cocktail hour guests enjoyed snacks and drinks while wondering the beautiful farm grounds, they were even able to get a few rounds of corn hole in.
After cocktail hour ended guests entered the gorgeous barn for a night of dinner and dancing. After teh formalities were over and the dancing finished, mackenzie changed into a fun party dress to dance the night away. Mackenzies father surprised the couple by decorating his jeep wrangler with cans and a just married sign. We had the most beautiful skies as the couple sang and danced to Taylor Swifts Love Story, it was a perfect moment! A crowd favorite was that the couple opted for a funnel cake truck instead of cake for dessert. This wedding from start to finish was a dream come true.
